Ontologica materials are sourced as found objects in public spaces or sourced with ethical retailers. No specimens that are alive, restricted, or unethically procured are held or sold by Ontologica.
-
Though many are similar or batch-made, no two Ontologica pieces are ever identical. From the base of the shell, stone, wing, or bark, to the flecks of gold or bits of crystal, each piece has a spark that will make any wearer the center of the conversation.

You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.
-
Pricing is based on the value of the piece in nature (certain shells are resources other organisms require for survival, where as bits of bark are a bit more disposable), the value of the man-made products (the price of gold has fluctuated a great deal over the past decade, for example), materials, and labor.
Certain custom requests will cost more due to time necessary for sourcing.
